COOKING TABLE, Ned Amornpiyalerk http://exhibits.btk-fh.de/exhibit.php?id=606 Welcome to Cooking Table. Cooking Table is the new experience of dining out for visual enthusiasts. The restaurant offers a visualization of the cooking process projected right in front of guests, once they’ve placed their favorite order with the waiting staff. They will see their dish get prepared and cooked from freshest ingredients, live in front of them from the kitchen. They will actually get to know the true appearance of exotic ingredients, the not-so-secretive recipe, and to be more than sure that what they eat is cooked hygienically without any unknown act. https://vimeo.com/89023566

VISUALIZING PEDESTRIANS, Yazan Tabaza http://exhibits.btk-fh.de/exhibit.php?id=604 Every day thousands of people around theworld walk on streets , being affected by many factors ( obstacles , type of pavement , street markets , weather, overall atmosphere …etc ) By this project i want to be able to track the pedestrians and visualize their life style and their stories .. and maybe come up with my own interpretation of this data, and compere it with other cities or even other regions . In conclusion : I want to Find certain characteristic for deferent cities around the world through the walking behavior of people and visualize it in an artistic way . Why did i chose this topic ? Because i was alway fascinated by the walking behavior of people and the factors that affect our walking decision. In the exhibition the visitor will be able to see the results of this project .. ether by A video projection or by a story board of posters visualizing the walking behavior of the pedestrians . There will be Real time tracking of the visitors inside the exhibition tracking there movement and recording it and projecting it in real time .

LIGHTING PISS, Riccardo Torresi http://exhibits.btk-fh.de/exhibit.php?id=603 Lighting Piss is a urban installation that light up the trees of a park thru the dog piss. This project discover the intimate relation of the dog with the tree that it choose to piss. The ideation of the concept come from observing the dogs of the district pissing on the tree in front of my window. The main topic of the Creative Physics course was translated into moved projections on trees that interact with the pissing animals. The starting point of the installation is, as said, the urine of the animal that is registered as a changing in temperature from the sensor. The Processing software record this change in temperature as a signal to the projection to start. The animation in the end is mapped on the tree and is connected to his shape. The implementations of the idea that I tested are related to the effects of the animation and to the number of dogs pissing on the same tree. After observing and mapping the dog’s favorite spots I tested it out on the same places with several “live performances” that I filmed to create a video.

REACTING WALL, Riccardo Torresi http://exhibits.btk-fh.de/exhibit.php?id=602 The main concept for the Panorama installation was to create a wall that reacts to the presence of the visitor. The closer the subject is to the wall, the more the surface collapses onto itself, emulating the effect of an earthquake. The visitor will have the perception that everything around him could collapse as he passes through the wall. As the visitor approaches, both the light of the projection and the sound elements will become more intense. On the surface there will be some interactive visuals that will react to the presence of the visitor. The sound is planned to be interactive as well. Six speakers are placed in differents positions to give a complex depth of sound. As the visitor approaches the sound will intensify according to the wall reactions. The sound emitted from the speakers is a sort of digital noise looping that will amplify the visitor’s sense of confusion

NOWADAYS REPLICA, Riccardo Torresi http://exhibits.btk-fh.de/exhibit.php?id=601 The location assigned for the “Berlin’s Festival of Light 2014” is an open space court inside an old building in Rungestraße 3. His expressionist architecture from the 20’s was the first element to take in consideration in the ideation of the concept. The main idea for the proposal was to create a suspended sphere in the middle of the court that would reflect the surrounding architecture. The reflection would be a surrealistic interpretation of the exhisting elements. The visitors would have the perception of being in a different dimension perceived as a parralel distorted reality. Some interactive effects in the reflection would be generated by the presence of the people around the sphere. Two possible constructions are suggested. Due to the availability of materials and the space requierments, the sphere’s envelope will be a constantly inflated balloon or a latex balloon of 4 meters diameter inflated with helium.

Reading is a way to wisdom, Chosita Raksaseree http://exhibits.btk-fh.de/exhibit.php?id=599 Creative Physics Steffen Klaue Jan Vormann Sebastian Neitsch Florian Kühnle Programmer Simon Weckert Reading Is A Way To Wisdom is an interactive media project, which is a combination of light projection and a concrete object (a book). The animation will start when the visitors open the book, by using tracking technology. The interesting part of this project is about to make a project of half digital and half analogue. Nowadays, technology plays an important role in our lives. Technology is helpful and convenient, but on the other hand, people have less patient and seldom read books than before. My purpose is to persuade people, to keep reading, to be more patient and to realize that knowledge in books is a way to wisdom and also imagination. This project is a mutation of the classical novel “Alice in wonderland”, which has a mystery and surreal story behind.

Pollen Space,Chosita Raksaseree http://exhibits.btk-fh.de/exhibit.php?id=600 The Pollen Space Project is a media space utilizing “Pollen” as impetus. Pollen, the male gamete that fertilizes the female ovule, is the origin of a plants life cycle. It is transported by water, wind, insects, or other animals. The intelligence of nature can be seen in all natural elements, such as, the vascularity of leaves and the repetitive pattern in fruit and plant skin. However, in a natural element like pollen, the size is very small (approx. 10 micrometers), so normally it cannot be seen by the naked eye. In The Pollen Space, the conceptual visualization of pollen operates and performs by casting a moving shadow throughout the space. This movement imitates the pollen grain’s behavior. It is small and lightweight, moving randomly, freely and with beauty. The sound and the visual design of The Pollen Space are intended to make people feel relaxed and chilled. The purpose of my project is to translate the conceptual geometrical understanding of pollen and integrate it into spatial design. The Pollen Space allows the spectators to approach another dimension of the intelligence of nature. The spectators see and recognize it from the inside out instead of the outside in. They perceive it as a space and not as an object. They are provided a new spatial experience that are created by the translation of natural logic and the complexity of a nature element. My wish is to inspire the awe that nature hold. Creative Project

VOMITOFAGIA, Carla Gronwald http://exhibits.btk-fh.de/exhibit.php?id=597 Interdisciplinary Project: Creative Project Development RETENTIONS AND PROTENTIONS OF THE “TROPICALISM” AND “ANTHROPOPHAGY” BRAZILIAN ART MOVEMENTS AND DECONSTRUCTIVISM Vomitofagia is a neologism. Vomito+fagia. Mito. The myth of the “new”. There is no “new”, only re-creation. The voracity of the Anthropophagic philosophy and the Tropicalist esthetic developed a deconstructivist / reconstructivist dialectic. Today, with globalization and Internet, the acceptance of new influences is inevitable. In those days it was a rupture. Both Anthropophagic and Tropicalist movements embraced it, putting the Brazilian culture on the spotlight through the contrast, creating a product with no intention or worry about being “palatable” for Brazilians and foreigners. Vomitofagia, as an art project, is also deconstructivist, intends to retain and perceive. To eat and digest. Taking it into pieces, adding, resetting. Then give it back as a re-presentation of these movements in a new altered and personal way, dismantling the myth of the “new” though. It structures itself as an Immersive Environment. An Art Installation, where senses are stimulated and also determine the space itself.
